Hi,

I'm not yet a BMW owner, I'm looking to change my Jag XKR for a classic BMW, probably a 7 series.

Just thought I'd pop in and say hi as I'll probably be making good use of these forums!

    Congrats on the decision. What 7 series have you got your eye on? E23 '77 - '86 or the moving away from classic yet holding on in there E32 '86 - '94?

    From my experience you'll be hard pushed to find one in good nick. Stick to specialist websites matey

    E38 is quite a long way from a Classic matey. Made those gals up till '01

    The iL V12 is the way forward though. Flagship model at the time. Beautiful cars. I've had the privilege of owning one myself (Minus the V12 powerplant). I doubt you'll look back! haha

    Well I bought a 2003 E39 530i Champagne and then last the car i was originally looking for, week a E38 728i sport. Not sure the wife wants me to keep both!
