Hi all,

as per the title, I'm new in these parts. I have just purchased a 2007 Z4 2.0iM roadster. I pick the car up on Tuesday and am very excited! (pics attached).

about me, I'm 25 (well untill March 25th). live and work in Cardiff and love my cars, well sports cars.

My previous car histry is as follows:

Rover metro - first car got to love it!

1975 MG Midget - to this day still my favourite car (pending the upcoming Z4 ownership)

1974 MGB Roadster

1997 MG F

2006 mk 3 MX5

and now (well Tuesday) 2007 BMW Z4 2.0IM Roadster

so I'd like to think I've owned a few interesting cars for someone my age. I love my classic cars and was an active member of the Cardiff MG Owners Club untill it was dispanded. I also have a love of classic motorbikes, particuarly 70s Yamaha 2 stroke twins. My first bike was an FS1E which I restored I then moved onto an RD125A and briefly a CBR125. Time and money have meant I haven't yet progressed to my full bike lisence but one day I hope to get there.

So I'm looking forward to getting stuck in here and meeting some new friends.

All the best

Ben

Thanks for the warm welcomes!

I have been quite lucky with my car history for someone my age. Though none of the MGs were restored examples so always had many issues, but then that was part of the fun for me.

I picked up the car yesterday, so still getting used to all the toys on it. The invoice did say it has a 6 disk changer but I'm yet to find it, certainly isn't where the book says it should be so I assume thats just an error. Oh wel not the end of the world. I want to look into adding bluetooth so I can use siri via the steering wheel, buy I guess we are talking expensive here!
