Hi, I'm thinking about upgrading my stock lights to angel eyes. Seen lots of different kits available, both CCFL & LED. Or replace the whole light unit. Again lots of different options here, I'd like to retain a reasonably stock appearance with original indicators if poss.

Not sure which way to go on this. Any advice or 'voices of experience' would be very welcome.

Thanks :)

Personally I'm not a fan of angle eyes on the E36 IMHO. I opened mine up and took the glass lens out of the normal headlight side then lamin-x'd the main beam lens orange. Them fitted some HID's (no I'm not one of those guys with HID's pointing up in the air to blind everyone else on the road lol).

I like HIDs... I know what you mean Steve, effin blinded many times !!

It's not nice at all, usual suspects are kids in their 1.0L 106 or 1.2 3 cylinder corsa haha.

I think they look good & mean on some bmw's but do not suit all models for some reasons. not sure why.

call me out dated but i am not a fan of angel eyes.. I guess -
