Never had a problem with the 318iS that was any fault of it's own engine is very much bulletproof!- Info On The 728I E38
Cheers mate you'll be seeing it by March at the latest - Dad gets to keep my car after we sell his and all we need to do now is find one! Then I can start throwing money at it bearing in mind this will be my major project - I've wanted this shape 7 since the Transporter and Tomorrow Never Dies. Then the whole stance game came into play and I wanted a beautifully specced comfortable car to waft along in on the inside with the ability to turn heads on the out! This is going to be big and expensive, luckily I'll be saving a sod load of money as I work about a mile TOPS from my house and will be working absolutely mental hours to get this car well into show car status but it will be used all day, every day!- Info On The 728I E38
Cheers Dabsy! I'm fairly light footed with the throttle and don't do much more than 5 miles a day so that's not so much of an issue. I am on the look out for a Sport but I'd be happy enough for a plain old colour coded one! I'm looking at X/Y registered cars, also a few 51 plates around! Suspension won't be too much of an issue - I'll be putting coilovers on it at some point this year so will take a look at the bushes int he mean while - have also heard about the dead pixels thing and will keep an eye out for that on test drives. Is there a way to put an aftermarket stereo in or is it just the Business Stereo and the 6CD changer?- Info On The 728I E38
Hi guys! Well the 320Cd plan flew out the window as the car is taking forever to be ready and I was still after an E38 anyway. Absolutely committed to getting one now as I adore the possibilty of having a 7 show car for next year! Would like to know some info such as: Price of Tax MPG rating List of options I should look for Weak points The rest is fairly straight forward really! I would like a blsck, silver or grey one but I don't mind a dark blue I guess. Plans for it are more or less the same as my E36! Thanks in advance Jas- The Pod 2011, My Car!!
Owwwwwww :(- The Pod 2011, My Car!!
I see my car! Third row, facing left ways between the bright red and the dark blue e36! Here it is too!- Tell Me About The 320D
LOL I hope they're there next year, I'd prefer some more close and personal pictures with them if I'm honest ;) Mum was well proud when she saw the pic of me and them :)- Tell Me About The 320D
LOL shaaaart it! Back in YOUR day they used to called 2p a tuppence! Memory fails you matey ;)- Tell Me About The 320D
You mean the 330d? They didn't make the 335d in the E46, the 330 was the biggest engine both diesel or petrol in the E46. The E9X models became available with the 335d engine - just my tuppence!- Tell Me About The 320D
*Coupé ;)- Tell Me About The 320D
Will try mate, I'm on loads of forums, I'm not even on bimmerforums but I got a picture with those fine ladies! Should have the E46 by then, and in ownership I should've had it slammed on it's nose by then too!- Tell Me About The 320D
Will do, and thanks again for the help Gav!- Tell Me About The 320D
Think they've also been done Gav from what my matey tells me, so that's a relief! And that does look smart, the one I'm looking at is ofcourse the Coupé which for me was the defining 3-Series growing up, and it will more or less be the same style agenda that my E36 was put through!- Tell Me About The 320D
Sweeeeeet! Nice one Gav mate that's pretty much all of it covered! This car I'm looking at has just had it's turbo replaced under warranty and some of the rear axle and wheel replaced at BMW, so by the sounds of it I needn't worry about too much. 55mpg you say?! Phwoar that is a good bit of news! Regarding the ride, I'll be slamming it on coilovers just as the E36 anyway, so that won't be an issue :D- Tell Me About The 320D
It's a 2004 Gav, the facelift if that helps :) I'm not too clued up on the E46, all I know is the 320Cd has 150bhp standard :)- Tell Me About The 320D
Evening everyone! I'd like as much info on the 320d as possible. Reason being I've been offered a 320Cd at a pretty good price and I'm just waiting for a time and day to look at the thing. So, I'd like as much info as possible: Price of road tax. Average fuel economy figures around town. How it feels in terms of performance and acceleration. Ride comfort. Cabin noise. Solidity - how the build quality feels. Aaaaaaaaaaaaand whatever else you'd like to add really, from re-maps to reverse lights tell me what you know! Also, if anyone who knows what I've done with my car, the 320Cd will be more or less another project :) Thanks, Jas- Hey Everyone! A Few Pics Of My Motor
Go for it mate, and cheers! :)- Hey Everyone! A Few Pics Of My Motor
