  1. Cheers mate, the new wheels will be on soon (I've actually got two sets of wheels but I've had a set repainted) and they'll be getting tyred up on Saturday!
  2. Amber indicators would mean the entire lense itself mate :)
  3. If you're keeping chrome grilles, blacken the slats matte black! I'd suggest some lowering springs and shocks perhaps. LED tail-lamps if it doesn't have any currently and if you do, tint them with Lamin-X a shade darker maybe? Amber front indicators would look good on the Estoril blue! I'd say powdercoat the alloys grey!
  4. Cheers mate, I'll try not to disappoint!
  5. Welcome to BMWOC mate, enjoy your stay :)
  6. Same as me then, FBMWSH, 2 owners and looked mint so I snapped it up, cheers! There will be many changes in the coming months!
  7. Happy Birthday Charli! I'm 21 in November this year so I feel your pain :(
  8. Welcome Christian, I think my favourite moment was when you walked up to Dave trying to mate with him!
  9. Welcome! Those doors certainly are interesting mate, what are the mechanicals like behind that? Are they very complicated? Is the an actuator involved under the hinge? Not that I'm going to stick them on my car ;)
  10. Hi and welcome to BMW OC! Regarding mods, eBay is the best place to go! My old E36 was built by eBay parts! Regarding angel eyes, eBay searches for 8000K angel eyes won't disappoint as fitting is easy! Lowering the car is a case of whether you want lowering springs/shocks or adjustable coilovers - a more expensive option but popular for people who want the option of raising or lowering their car to a preferred ride height whether it be for handling or for looks - have a look around the net and see what you like and I'm sure we'll be happy to help as best we can :) Enjoy your stay!

Hi Jamie, welcome to the forum! Look forward to meeting you at shows and meets! OR when we're following Dave to Milton Keynes and almost write our cars off... ... and taking corners rather vigorously... P.S. Thanks for the badge!
  16. You should definately go for hubcentric spacers mate, otherwise the wheels will cause vibrations through the steering rack at higher speeds!
  17. My car's pretty good for kidnapping and/or other crimes?
  18. No worries mate sorry I can't help much more than that I'm afraid, struggled enough getting my grilles off!
  19. No worries mate, sounds good to me!
  20. Hi Benji, Here's a link that may aid you: http://forums.5series.net/topic/25386-grill-removal-quick-and-no-grazed-knuckles/ Hope that helps mate.
  21. You should be fine then, I've heard very little about this engine which can only be good news! :) I bet it's a hoot to drive!
  22. Hi Jay, Welcome to site! I would certainly reccomend a 320d with the main thing to be looking out for is swirl flaps but for some reason i'm seeing alot of 320d's with knackered rear wheel bearings so watch out for cars with limited service history. As Gav's said, it's a great car in general - good all rounder! I was going to get one myself, I was on the market for a nice cheap fuel efficient car... and ended up with my BMW 7-Series. Go figure...
