Is There A Cambelt To Change On E46 325Ti Compact Engine (02 Plate)?
chain driven please remember that chains can stretch and the tensioners can go I had a golf vr6 chain driven but the tensioners went the chain jumped and the engine was wrecked

its probably -ooked water gets inside these setting rust at play seizing the insides try taking it apart clean all the rust out grease the cogs and give it another try a good hour should have it working from start to finish. ;)

I hand build mx5 s mk2/mk2.5 turn them into fast road cars change most components from the 5 speed box to a r/s 6 speed one change the diff, suspension brakes really most items including the trim just love it I am known on most of the mx5 forums for this

I have read the great write up in the how to section on belt changing my car is on 100k miles both the belts are perished do I need to change the tensioners as well ? thanks

Water In The Boot Left Hand Side
I have changed the boot seal, it looks like there is a rubber bung missing from the underside of the car I have covered this with a hard plastic and araldite it into place will keep you updated. Thanks

Water In The Boot Left Hand Side
e46 compact water in the boot, its under where the disc changer sits , if you remove the trim around this unit the floor section of the boot is soaking plus I can see the ground its like there is a missing rubber bung? I have sealed the light today but its now -issing down so will check again in the morning would like to know about the missing bung plus what's the filter thing against the inner wing thanks Samantha

guys my compact has the battery in the boot it has the normal connectors to the battery but there is one other long silver tube like connector looks like it should fit one the positive but cant see how any links or pics to this please? kind regards Samantha
