  4. Oh Dear! Probably not considered a proper job- I've been an HMRC Tax Inspector for over 25 years-but a popular one as I assist companies with Research & Development claims-including motorsports etc. Part-time (thanks to Dave, George & the bankers I've been on a pay freeze for several years-'we're all in it together' not likely we're not!) I work a lot of music festivals-Glastonbury, Reading etc, previously doing audit work, but more recently Traffic Officer for same company-keeping the traffic moving. Oh-and the bonus-Guitar bands are my mid-life crisis-now along with the 325 ti compact and Mondeo ST200.
  5. But had an E30 320i G reg a couple of years ago. Was a 'dream' car and loved it loads, but it rusted a lot on the wings. (though + 20 years old of course!) Main other problem was the instrument cluster was very temperamental, but apparently thats a well-known pcb issue. Well, here I am back with an 02 plate 325ti compact-bought on 23/12/13. You guys have already been very helpful, as this is a 'subsequent'. posting What do I think? 4.9 out of 5-lots of goodies and oodles of smooth power. Only moans-lots of dashboard lights (radiator, ABS etc) 'come & go' with no apparent effect on the driving pleasure & the rear wash-wipe doesn't work. (Breakeryard, here I come if a good motor clean doesn't work!) Modern cars are too complex-too many acronyms to go wrong! 18 days before, I bought another toy-a V reg Mondeo ST200 with cherry bomb exhausts. Two very different cars with similar power etc. (Sold a 1.6 Zafira-very practical, but yawn, to buy these two) For practicalities, still own another Zafira (wife's) & daughters share a Rover 45 1.4 (not as bad as some people say) Speak soon Thanks Malcolm
  6. Any ideas where I can get one at reasonable cost? I only had one with car when bought-awaiting dvla list of owners to try tracing previous owner but one. Thanks Malcolm
  7. Thanks for the input-L'll check the level again-it was ok a couple of days ago Malcolm
  8. This has started to come on at times. I remember-vaguely-seeing that this is a 'not to worry-kink in pipe, well-known issue'. Am I right? Thanks Malcolm
  9. Another query already! I didn't get an owners manual with this one and would have thought to operate you would push wiper stalk away from driver. As nothing happens (or am I trying the wrong operation?) I guess I'll need a new rear wiper motor? Many thanks & Merry Christmas again Malcolm 07815 841797
