  1. HI Ray...welcome to the club!

Looks like a good car to start with and should be good fun modifying it into your preferred style.

I reckon a decent set of secondhand late model alloys would really enhance the look

Keep us posted with piccies of the improvements over time.

  2. Hi Kelly...welcome to the club!

It might be worth looking in the drivers handbook for the operation of the park sensors as it's unlikely they would have fitted them without activating them with the car.

The phone button, however may be an option but again, worth looking in the handbook for pairing instructions.

  3. Hi Dave,

A K&N air filter is a great addition to any car and the benefits are there for years to come...as long as they are cleaned correctly (following manufacturers instructions) and more importantly...making sure that the sticker is placed on the air box area to indicate that there is a K&N in there otherwise some garages have been known to replace them during a service and disposing of it to replace it with a cheap paper one :-(

  4. Hi Jane...welcome to the Forum!

It sounds like an idle fault if the revs have dropped down to a level where the transmission is juddering.

If this is the case, then maybe try some cleaning additive for the engine (Halfords sell many different types) and a good run may cure it.

If not, then a trip to a local BMW specialist for them to scan the engine control system to diagnose the fault.

I would try the cleaner first though
