Why Does Bmw Use Odd Sizes Studs On The Inlet Manifold?
Well i have just started to attempt the swirl flap mod and there are 2 nuts missing from the inlet manifold, no idea why? Been trying to get some replacement nuts has proved to be a nightmare, as they are 7mm flange nuts, everywhere ive been has got 5,6 or 8 mm nuts in stock but not 7mm. So has anyone local got some spare or know where i can get some? Cheers Phil

I Should Really Get Motivated (Advuce Needed On Some Tasks)
Just looked on ebay and there are 22mm and 32mm swirl flap blanks, do i need to take it apart first or is there another way of knowing what size i require?

I Should Really Get Motivated (Advuce Needed On Some Tasks)
I have just had my 320D a few weeks but havent had time to use it or even look at it, there are a few jobs i need to do before i get my foot to the floor. Im looking for info on where to get the bits at the best prices and if I can do it myself or chuck money away at a garage. This is my first german car, so no idea who sells the best priced parts. Swirl Flaps : Im looking for these to vanish before they vanish into the engine. Wheres the best place to buy them? Can i do the job myself? Do you need any special tools? How long should it take to do? Front / Rear Discs Where the best place for some decent discs and pad? Do you need any special tools to remove the calipers etc? Clutch Thrust Bearing Mine has a bit of a whine, not sure whether to tackle it or wait till the clutch starts to slip and renew both at the same time? Im sure i will find lots of other things to do with it as time goes on, including a full clean up inside and out :)

The Fast Show (Santa Pod) March 2013
Sorry buddy, but the more interest we get will be good publicity for all of us. I think going forward we will have to draw a line across the country as Northamptonshire comes under the Midlands area on some of the maps :)
