  1. Just been chatting to the guys over at Shinerama who said that they have open days with tution and discounts to a few car clubs and normally chuck a few bacon and sausage rolls in for good measure, so do you fancy this? If we can get an idea of numbers and the month, then i will try and arrange the day out. http://www.shinearama.co.uk Cheers Phil

  12. The car is supposed to have full bmw service history, but since i have started doing a few jobs and find things missing and broken, im starting to think, wether the service book is pukka or its just slap hazard working from BMW as its an old car. Well today i done the front and rear discs and pads, broke two sockets on the caliper carriers and that was on the first one, so out came the heat gun to ease it a bit. The rest of them went ok, but when doing the last one on the rear, i find a broken coil spring. So it will be another day in the cold tomorrow after i go and purchase a pair and then fit them. So the question what else is likely to be broken or need replacing next?? Winning answer will get ???? The broken bit i take off lol :)

  18. I havent had my 320d long and been doing little jobs on it like the swirl blanks and crankcase filter, but this noise may of been there before but i havent noticed it lol. Its when you switch the ignition on, there appears to be something running / humming for about 20 ish seconds then stops, it happens everytime i switch the ignition on. Air con / fan is off. Could it be the fuel pump? Any ideas or do i need to make sure the radio is on lol :) Thanks
