  1. Not sure, there is a sat nav unit for the 1 series on fleebay that is meant to sit where the heater vents are, it does have vents either side of it on the new fascia that you install I'll see if I can fin it for you
  2. The BMW should have independent rear suspension so it would mean lengthening drive shafts, fitting mounting points for the diff, making new hub carriers, finding hubs to fit the carriers, etc, etc...... With regard to the auto box, you may find that you need the abs (sensors at least) for the auto to work properly as it may work on a road speed to engine speed ratio to select the correct gear as it being an 02 model it might not just require engine speed, throttle position and output shaft speed (dependent on manufacturer, both ecu and vehicle, the box will use either gearbox output shaft or wheel speed sensors to determine what gear to select).
  3. If what wiki says can be trusted it is just the mapping that is different, yes there is a higher spec cd/radio with USB, aux connections though this doesn't accept my iPhone or iPad in my 120d, iirc there are about three different specs for the radio, business (the one I have) being one, there is the next one up that's got the sat nav and one below that's pretty basic
  4. I would definitely change the oil as a start

  10. I think mine will need about three bars of clay to get all the crap off. We should do a dirt off, put up pics of our cars and how dirty they are and compare them to how clean they are on Sunday :-)
