hi bob if u can see the end where the cable goes through, it should b shaped like a loop u can push it with a screw driver while someone is takin the strain of the bonnet off the catch all depends which way the cable goes ..... left or right across the car depends which way u need to push/pull it

to re-seal lights run a small bead of clear silicon sealer round lights let dry and then refit the glass i have done it on mine and all is ok now

have u checked that they are workin ? simple answers always sound silly but its a warning that there is something wrong with the lights ie bulbs or if bulbs are ok try the wiring give it a wriggle
