  5. Dave, if you are changing bushes every year or so may be a good investment yo go down the poly bush route. Neil, the Meyle HD are updated, solid ball joint and don't work out much more than premium GSF or euro car part ones may be even cheaper in the long run. Mine came with the cross brace as standard, but from what I have read it is a common upgrade on e36 coupes and does improve the handling of the car and thanks for the feedback on the bushes
  6. Will a coupe rear strut brace fit a vert. Has any one fitted one/ if so any improvement on handling.
  7. Since driving to Gaydon and back slight knock on front drivers side has got worst and car just doesn't feel right, suspect worn wishbone, bush or ball joint. Thinking of changing the lot inc drop links and anti roll bar bushes whilst at it, has any one done this and upgraded to E30 set up, HD Meyle or polly bushes and if so any improvements over the standard set up. Looks like new wheels will have to wait :(

  19. Hi and welcome to the club
  20. Great day and weather, didn't make the pub meet as we made the most of a child free night and had a little lie in, so did not get to meet anyone :(, did see a familier slammed 7 tho:)
  21. Had a 3.0 petrol X5 for a few weeks, amazing car to drive, unfortunately had quite a few problems which took the shine off it and the the boss wanted it gone, would deff buy another one, rear bushes can be expensive to replace and can need replacing around the 80k mark i believe
  22. Welcome to the club, 2 k should get you a nice 3 series
  23. Welcome to the club, I've been with Chris Knott for a few years and found them very competitive, get your best quote and give them a ring to see if they can beat it! Think you have to have 4yrs no claims tho.
  24. Hi Charlee, never done either of these myself, had a full service on mine inc all belts and 2 x track rod ends for £160, the actual labour for the track rod ends was £20. The guy did say that the track rod ends were well seized and had to be heated up before removal. Had the tracking done today (4 weeks after the service) and one side was seized again and had to be heated again, so may not be a DIY job. Good luck either way
