E36 Wishbones
Dave, if you are changing bushes every year or so may be a good investment yo go down the poly bush route. Neil, the Meyle HD are updated, solid ball joint and don't work out much more than premium GSF or euro car part ones may be even cheaper in the long run. Mine came with the cross brace as standard, but from what I have read it is a common upgrade on e36 coupes and does improve the handling of the car and thanks for the feedback on the bushes

E36 Wishbones
Since driving to Gaydon and back slight knock on front drivers side has got worst and car just doesn't feel right, suspect worn wishbone, bush or ball joint. Thinking of changing the lot inc drop links and anti roll bar bushes whilst at it, has any one done this and upgraded to E30 set up, HD Meyle or polly bushes and if so any improvements over the standard set up. Looks like new wheels will have to wait :(

Advice Needed..
Hi Charlee, never done either of these myself, had a full service on mine inc all belts and 2 x track rod ends for £160, the actual labour for the track rod ends was £20. The guy did say that the track rod ends were well seized and had to be heated up before removal. Had the tracking done today (4 weeks after the service) and one side was seized again and had to be heated again, so may not be a DIY job. Good luck either way
