Hi Guys, need some help please, PDC sensors have decided to pack in, had diagnostic on and it is saying Front right middle sensor at fault, my question is do you have to remove the bumper to replace the sensor. any help please

Hi Dave at last all sorted, turned out it was the rear right wheel bearing was a faulty part, to cut a long storey short the lad a the garage said he thought the part looked a bit iffy when he fitted it, something to do with the magnetic rings, anyway he took it back out and replaced with another new part and everything went back to normal, even put the old abs sensor back on and everything is fine, took it out for a drive where i could keep a constant speed and everything is clear, no lights on dash, very happy now. thanks very much for your help

Hi Dave, when it first started the garage cleared all codes then when we started it up the lights came back on immediatley, garage has now got it down to one light remaining which is the 4x4 light and his computer is coming up with transfer case fault now but just had a new cog put in there

well after a lot of cussing and swearing i've had the rear wheel sensor changed as that was coming up as a fault on the computer, i've had the transfer case actuator cog changed and to be honest there wasn't a lot of wear on that cog and the rear right wheel bearing changed and i have still got lights on the dash, admittedly there is only the 4x4 light on and garage has said it is coming up as "transfer case" fault now. i am absoluteley fed up with the damn thing now, anyone any idea what could be causing these warning lights, had all wiring checked and mechanic is adamant there is no break in any cables.

hi Dave answers to your questions, 1. the lights only came on when doing a constant speed, usuallu around the 60 mark, 2. no i didnt disconnect the battery and yes the ignition was still on when we changed the sensor, 3.i have driven the car and drives absoluteley fine, 4. i havent tried going backwards and forwards and changing lock, 5. i will go and disconnect the battery and see where we go from there. thanks again Dave for your input, i will let you know how i get on

yes all codes where cleared then re run but still came up with fault

changed a right rear ABS sensor this morning, since that i have all these lights staying on my dash, has been on diagnostic and it says there is no power feed but it is reading wheel speed on all wheels, cant understand, anyone any suggestions please as getting really fed up with this car at moment, car is running absoluteley mint but cant put up with these faults all the time

an so another problem has come up, i have refitted the sensor into the new bumper cover but it is still coming up as a fault and sensors are now not working, do they have to be coded the get them to work again????

Hi Guys need a bit of advice please, some low life piece of s..t has helped themselves to the cover of one of my rear sensors, left the sensor hanging, hence the tape, i have ordered a new outer cover for the bumper, how does the sensor actually attach the the bumper, i know the cover just twists on, any help please

Hi Dave its the buisness set up, 2 units, also the multichanger in the boot, thats not playing either, there is power to all units and it accepts a cd, also all of a sudden the pixels have gone off the radio as well, puzelled

i seem to be having a problem with the CD player not working, i have taken it out of the dash and everything seems to be fine, i insert a cd and it plays........for about 10 seconds then just stops, i now have no pixels showing on radio and the on / off knob now dosent want to work, getting frustrated now, also on putting it back into the dash all stops again. any help greatly appreciated.
