Now, they are indeed lovely but. I... feel like going a step further

A few years back a good mate of mine pasted comic book pages on all the walls in his bathroom. Done this instead of painting or papering it. Looks sweet. Waterproofed it by coating it with PVA glue.

Anyone think I should do it to the inside of my engine bay? Paste old comic books to the paintwork under the bonnet and protect them with heat-resistant clear lacquer. The body work under the engine doesn't get TOOOO hot so I think it should be okay. The engine's out so... I need to do something interesting.

This was the engine bay before I pulled that M20 out and prepped it for the Orange+Black M50. Alot of visible paintwork under the bonnet so, it needs Jazzing up!

think I saw something similar to this on the inside of someones boot lid once...

I think that would look awesome, I've never seen anything like that before so in my eyes at least it would be properly unique :)
