The wife's Zafira has gone to its new home and the short list (the only car we can both agree on lol) is a 3 series diesel E90/91. Looking at a 06-07 plate with around 70000 miles, apart from the usual service history, is there anything major to look for. This will be our first diesel BM, are the swirl flaps an issue on this model

Post 2008 in the 2ld wasn't fitted with swirl flaps mate.

It's not such a hard job as long as you familier with a spanner.

I'd drive my 2 litre diesel over a 330ci all day, and I've owned both!!

Deal done, 3/4 tank of petrol up in the E36, 1/4 tank of diesel back in the E90, I'm converted
