Hi All,

I polished my car at the weekend and the back and sides look great! Unfortunately the chips all across the front bumper have shown up a treat. Looks like the previous owner used to enjoy driving too close to people during motorway journeys.

Could anyone give me a suggestion on the best way to deal with this? Is a re-spray the only way?

Quotes?

Cheers Peeps :)

Hey Joe,

Yeah a respray is the cure buddy. You can cut and polish her BUT.. stone chips often go deep so, pointless. You can put one of those horrid black leather bras on the front of your car but.. well.. Up to you

Another member here had a similar problem with her beautiful M3. Check her story out:

There is ways, but it will never be perfect and you need big balls.

You can build up the ditches with paint so they sit proud of existing paint and wet and dry them back down them polish to finnish.

I have done this a few time, no one have ever noticed after, but i knew it was there.
