Welcome, Enjoy the forum, I would take the car back to where you had it serviced, to rectify the problem, good luck

Welcome.

Please ask questions in the right sections

Welcome to BMWOC :)

Please post in the right section, thanks

Could be your Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor or your air control valve, normally the MAF sensor just needs a clean with some spray and the air control valve can get jammed up with carbon, just needs taking off and cleaned with a wire brush and some WD 40.

Hope that helps, good luck!

just a note. NEVER use WD40 in your ICV, throttle bodies or anything that needs just air, WD40 is an OIL, and can cause serious problems with an engine, use brake cleaner or throttlebody / carb cleaner, it evaporates leaving no residue and costs about the same if not less that a can of WD. just a word of advice, check your ICV, MAF, and lift your engine cover to check the pipe that runs over the top hasnt collapsed... or take it back to the service station to rectify it.
