Hi all.

I have a BMW e46 and my mate has recently purchased the computer and other necessary parts required to perform engine remapping.

He has offered to do mine for me, but as you can imagine I am a bit skeptical about it.

has anybody had any experience with engine remapping? If so, what are some common problems that can be caused by remapping? How likely is it to go wrong? and also, how badly can / will it go wrong?

    Lets just say I paid £300 for my remap and theres gotta be a reason for it costing that much !! That should answer your question !!
