Rear Parking Sensors Not Working - What Should I Look For?

Hi Dan, welcome to the club, had a problem with parking sensors on previous X5, not sure if it is the same set up on 3 series, mine was one faulty sensor that stopped the whole lot from working, if you park in a quiet spot and put car in reverse with ignition on you sould be able to hear a ticking noise from each sensor, any that are not ticking may be fault. In my case they all ticked and I only found the faulty one by having the car plugged into a BMW diagnostic at a local specialist
