After having the 325i and the M3 (e36 models), I somehow got into the mitsubishi/dodge stealth' twin turbo car's. Having one of each. (3000gt, stealth)

But I am back!!!!! For years I have admired the 7 series e38. Found a beautiful black 740i "sport" (so called), so I bought it and I absolutely love it.

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself, as I read a few other posts in the 7 series section, and people mentioned to start here.

I love the black 740, I have very dark windows and would like to black everything else out, well not the taillights, I love the clear/red tailights on the bmws.

Anyways, I am from minnesota, usa...i think its really cool to look at some of the pictures on here of cars from across the ocean. Something new to me. Take care!

Opps. The 325i was a 1993, the M3 was a 1995, and my 740 is 2001. =)

welcome mate, same here always loved the shape of the E38, so i got one about 2 months ago, 728i sport 2001 ( the pic in my sign on) and as you love her to bits, beautiful cars.....enjoy mate, mind you would off liked the 740 for v8 burble but this 728 is immaculate plus had all the toys and a great history with a lovely colour so went for that instead but she still has a nice growl on full kickdown and doesnt hang around
