Hi guys. I'm Jay.. I have just brought my first BMW.. Best I could get with my budget was the E46 323CI coupe. LOVE it so far!

Just wanted advice in regards to upgrade possibilities.

Currently the car has most of the extras, electric mirrors, windows, leather interior etc..

Missing is electric folding mirrors, multi control steering wheel and a decent set of alloys.

Do I have any upgrade options to these?? I would love to have the steering wheel with radio controls and the folding mirrors. Would also like to be able to connect my phone to the cars sound system IE via bluetooth or something?

The options list is never ending..

My current car i found just before it saw the crushers. Was just a basic 328i Sport...

If u love ebay as much as i do ull find bargain genuine bmw parts to ugrade everything.

Now iv got pretty much every option from the factory options list from Individual spec to GT spec parking sensors... Only thing i dnt have is parking sensors and a cd changer

Personally I plug my iphone into the stereo and can use it that way.. But the best purchase i think u could make is a Parrot Handsfree kit! Quite cheap and is also appealing to buyers when u come to sell the car

Hope ur happy with the car, once u go Bmw its extremely hard to change to anything else

+1 Jamie are you coming to the Kent meet tomorrow?

Thank you very much for the detailed reply. So it is possible to uprade all these parts then?? I mean using the steering wheel as an example.. I'm guessing I need firstly the wheel! Then wiring looms??? How can I plug my ipod into the car sound system? Is there a connection in the back or an add on I could buy??

I am in corby tomorrow but will definetly aim to get to the next meet.. I must admit I am loving the BMW thing at the moment.. I sold my 1965 chevrolet Malibu and bought this car with some of the proceeds! No regrets so far :-D

=O waaa?? I love my BMW dont get me wrong..

But nothing compares ( in my opinion ) to an old american classic!

Iv got a 1972 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Pro Street, its my baby and will be very reluctant to ever sell it

Hi Jamie... The wiring is already there, basically.... You will need power-fold mirrors and the accompanying switch-pack. If the current head unit allows it then just bolt on another steering wheel. As for BlueTooth, you may need the BT-module that resides in the boot (sometimes behind dash but rare)... Maybe just buy a Parrot device !

I was reluctant to sell malibu but misses and littlen meant something more reliable and comfortable was needed.

Loving my BMW although I seem to be having fuel pump problems now :-/ Driving along lovely then it started loosing power quite drastically like there is some of blockage.. AA man feels the pump could be nackered as when he checked it with a volt gauge it was pulling nearly 7 volts up whilst running? Funny thing is, when I left car overnight and went for a drive it doesn't miss a beat? Its only after a fairly lengthy drive that the problem happens :-/ Bit of investigation requied I think before upgrades :-(

Cheers pal I will look into this once I have sorted the fuel problem.
