I need a little advice on my alarm here goes my alarm works fine but the range on my fob is weird I can walk away from car and arm the alarm but to disarm it I have to touch a window with fob to disarm it I was wondering if you could expand the range to use fob somehow thanks.

    Probably a dodgy button in the fob, or tired battery... The Lock and Unlock are of slight different freq's.

    try replacing the battery in it,mine was the same until I replaced it :)

    Did you "lick" the Battery for a response at your tongue? Shelf-life can factor in all small batteries... Sorry, just had experience of this !

    If all is ok with "New" battery, then it must be the fob as your system is accepting the closure fine...

    The other fob needs to be proggied to car using the "additional key" method.

    I think it's propa broke the red led on it doesn't light up when I press the button so I think that's out of the window lol
