i want to buy either a e36 coupe or convertible, but i dont know what engine?

it needs to be able to do a standing quarter mile in under 16 seconds with the option of upgrades cheap at first but then maybe a supercharger

my kids want a cab but i only have £1000 so itll probably be a high miler so any ideas ?

also i cant find a 0-60 for the 325 only the 323 and 328 can someone let me know please really looking forward to getting a bmw as i have wanted one for a long time

Im not sure about the 0-60 but my 328 is pretty quick. As for cheap mods if ya get a 328 and change the head with one of a 325 it gives you about 20 more bhp..

Thats a small cheap mod to give you a bit more speed.

Welcome Phil, Enjoy the club, 325 0 - 60 is about 7.0 secs, but don't forget as cars get older they lose their power and how they have been treated by previous owners.

Have a look on Autotrader website, they can give you a rough guide has all the other info like performance, economy etc, other things to think about is economy, insurance group, how much you want to spend upgrading the car, good luck. :D

your asking a lot for a Rio,a cab at that money might prove hard to find. A 328 has lots of go for the buck. 328s are good value and can be upgraded later.Mines stock and i dont get passed on the Mways often.Sunny Scunny gateway to the north what a town,good luck with it mate and welcome

get a 328 coupe,plenty of modding and tunability !!

Altho saying that, ive got a 323 coupe and it puts out more power and is quicker (due to a remap) than a 328 ;)
