Just Performed Oil Change, Now Blue Smoke?

Just performed an oil change, new oil filter and good quality fully synthetic oil.

This afternoon when started up, i get a plume of blue smoke from exhausts, cleared very quickly.

but why? was good before oil change?

    All I can think of is slightly to much oil.

    Have you checked the level is correct?

    What oil did you use? If its thinner oil, It might be slipping past the rings a bit more than usual

    Maybe some oil got sucked up one of the breather tubes into the intake.

    If its not anymore, Dont worry
