Bmw 323I Intake Crank Position Sensor

Hi everyone i have had my car on the machine and its come up with exhaurst crank position sensor so i have changed this and cleared the code drove the car and its still the same really flat, put it back on the computer and its now come up with intake/inlet crank position sensor could someone please tell me where this is i have tried clearing the code but everytime i start the car it comes back so looks like i need a new one.

Try cleaning the sensor... Just under the Vanos solenoid, I had crusty oil deposits on mine a while back and this fixed the error... Might work :unsure:

It's on the front-right on the side of the cylinder-head just below the Vanos solenoid (this looks like a large 32/34mm nut combined into a cylindrical device), to the left of the oil-filter housing... Want a pic?
