Hi

I know this is a stupid question but can some tell me what type of coolant I need for a 2001 1.9 Z3 I've looked in the manual I've searched the net and halfords say it's in my manual but it's not then they tell me I'll need to contact the dealer, why is it so difficult !!! :lol:

    Have a look on the coolant expansion-tank, usually a label on there... Maybe even on the cap.

    I just ordered this from eBay the listing has a list of all BMW it is for also your filler float should have a coloured spot ie red or blue

    I thought of that couldn't find anything under the hood, and as far as I know the 1.9's do not have filler float, if they do mine's gone.

    I thought it was Pre and post 1990 cars have to use different coolant types lol shows how much use I am! :D
