Check the throttle-cable for stiffness or tight bending, as it routes around the engine bay... Try manually twisting the throttle from under the bonnet while the engine is running (In Neutral of course!)...

You might also want to elimate interference from the carpet or behind the pedal !!

Yep, similar issue !! But @ 4k revs... Unplug the MAF and I bet your flat-spot arrives at about 2k revs or before... The clues are there !

Right i will try this in a min so is it best to leave it unplugged or replace MAF as well bit new to these cars as you can prob tell :(

today everthing was running fine untill the engine light went off hahahahaha now i cant get it back on!! tried taking it up to 3k and unplugging it evan drove it with it unplugged , pluged it back in nothing happens no light :( :unsure: i wont my light back :lol:

hi guys right i have replaced the MAF with a new one and a new throttle cable now its been running perfect but today its gone back to normal again really slow when i but my foot on accelarator its just really flat if i keep it down the power goes up in stages any ideas :unsure:
