Well had the 523i since Sunday, and boy am i glad to be back behind the wheel of another one, i have had a couple of niggles with the car one been a vibration at 75 mph, which i was told maybe wheel balance so i had the front wheels balanced, but i haven't had chance to get up to 75 to see if the balance has cured the problem, whilst at the tyre place they informed me that the rear tyres want replacing, so they are on order ready to be fitted this Thursday, the other niggle was the asc light is permanently on, after doing some research on the net, i have found that the wire from the throttle actuator is missing, so a trip to the main stealer is in order to get a replacement, but does anyone know if i need to get the light reset or not, any info greatly received.

Possibility, if you think its cured but the fault code remains then a reset it is !

Yes i guess that is the only way to find out for sure dabsy, although i did read that someone disconnected thier battery and reconnected it and the light reset itself after he drove about 60 miles, ahh well ill get the part and fit it and see what happens, thanks mate.
