Hi forum, this is my first post and it has to be a question.

The rubber seal which is attached the both rear passenger windows (they clip open, its a compact)

are perished and ripped especially on the B post where they provide a seal with the doors.

They are attached to the windows and so my question is.

In order to renew them must I buy the window with them already attached or can the old seals be removed from the window glass and be replaced with new seals.

Any advice appreciated.

Hi mate welcome to the club

I think you can just replace the rubbers there is a post on here with all BMW part numbers

Regards Chris

Hello Richard,

Welcome to BMWOC :) I'm sure the whole window is not required. Have you tried picking the part up on FleaBay? I'm sure one of the guys here will be able to assist! :D

Hahahaha Well said, Daz

BTW the seals can be re-fitted using a similar bonding agent as the windscreen ;)
