I just been out for a spin with my mate who's not a mechanic just a know it all and he seems to think that judder I get when I put foot down hard and when I take foot off gas could be suspension bushes. What do you guys think

I thought it was only in sports mode?

And yes could be bushes under hard acceleration and braking.

WAIT... Does it vibrate or clunk/snatch sort of thing?

If it vibrates some, then it wont be the bushes! Chances are its a ball joint or centre donut or even a touch of shaft balance...

If you sense a clunk then deffo bushes... Or even suspension top rubbers ...

Best thing to do is get under her and have a closer look at ALL the bushes and check for excessive perishing, change if necessary! Not a hard job !!!

That's the car dropped off at garage for compleat bush and undercarriage overhaul .

Let's hope my old mate visa dont melt on me :-)

Hmm, I thought it was my wishbones/bushes on my previous car (Alfa 156) when I noticed a knocking noise under acceleration. It didn't fix it.... :( I .. Hate.. ANYTHING..to do with suspension!

Iv just replaced pretty much all the bushes on my e46 and they are a bugger to do
