Hi all just got x5 3.o d sport 2005, and noticed that there is a weld seam on the 2 front doors in side just adjacent to the doohinge and its on an angle, and finishes op at the bottom, same on the rear dors starts at the top left of door and you can feel the end at the bottom, hope this is in the manufacturing, ????? any info please , regards to all

    i just been out to look at mine and i also have a weld seam going from half way up door towards door mirror

    it will be were the door skin is attached. most doors come in 2 parts which are welded together.

    Take the doorskin off to see whats hanging free from the back of the outer door handle...
