wots the story all just did an engine swap on my e36 was 2.ol now 2.5l but usein a 2.0l loom and im not geting spark or fuel anyone have a clue wa i can do

Wiring loom giving wrong info to ecu I got a mate with a 1.2 fiesta and put a 1.4 with changing the loom, he's got the same problem

you need to get hold of the ecu for that engine also there is a small black box which is for the imobiliser just under the steering column i had the same problem the only way i solved it was buying a donor car with the engine running i swaped the ecu and wiring loom + the little box under the column the car started straight off the key
