Hello Everyone

I am new to the site, we have had our car for almost one year and it has just passed its first MOT (with us) on 04/01/2011. On the MOT we were told the brake pads were worn and we needed new brake pads in Feb/March 2011 and new bushes in April/May 2011. Our car is a 2003 318i SE with 42,280 miles on the clock.

However, my fiance wants to travel a 400 mile round trip to Glasgow and we do not have anytime to get the repairs complete in time for the journey. Does anyone know if they believe the car will be safe enough to drive???? I won't hold anyone to anything LOL.

If they past it through the mot, then legaly they should be ok for a while.

Just change them, there easy and quite cheep.

I can do a how to if you like.
