My First Post On here :)

Dads Got a 325 Ci Convertable, and he is having troble with the boot lid, not shutting properly. It opens ok, but when you come to shut it it sorto bounces back and wont lock shut and the boot open light is lit on the dash. eventualy it dose lock after a few hard slams. Is the lock on the way out? im going to try some WD40 init tomorrow When im out changing the steering rack on my car :)

Im posting on here for my dad because he dosnt get on with pc's lol all help apreciated :)

welcome to the club, only thing i can think of is as you have said to try good old wd40, id give it a good spray as theres prob some dust and other crap stuck in there

James How old is it? I got a new 325 coupe and its doing exact same thing, you keep slamming it and it takes quite a few shots.

Hi,

There are two rubber adjusters on the top of the boot when

open.In your case I would screw them inwards.You might have

to take the rubber off,release the lock nut then screw(it) in

can't remember exactly.It being the long bolt.
