Just by way of introduction I have a 1988 E32 735ise which I bought in 1991, with 44386 miles on the clock, in the grandiose sum of £14500. The car now has a recorded mileage of over 257000 miles and still drives beautifully. The body work is largely good but could do with a replacement rear off side wing in the not too distant future due to rust, and the top coat lacquer is pealing in places.

For about 15yrs. now the car elects to indiscriminately discharge the battery over night on occasions, say 3-4 times/year, so I had terminals put in the boot which unlocks mechanically and hence allows access to a ''slave'' battery which is used to re-energise the car including the central locking.

The car is used daily.....in addition I have a 1987 Volvo 760GLE (193000 miles) purchased in 1993 and a 2003 MB SL500 (60000 miles) purchased new.

I look forward to exchanging information with Forum members about E32's and other issues but for now:
