no idea my self, i think my dad uses a nokia in his X5 and works well.

best bet is proberbly to ring BMW and ask them?

hopefully some one will no on here soon

As far as I know any phone that has bluetooth 2.0+EDR or 2.1+EDR bluetooth chips, I find most LG phones are cheaply made and only have Bluetooth 2.0 chips in and is not compatible with BMW equipment. The other problem you have is that 90% of manufacturers put Bluetooth 2.0 on the box and you have no idea weather it has EDR on the chip or not without testing it, mainly because 99% of the market has no need to know what EDR is.

I have an unused Nokia 5230V festival edition on Virgin Mobile never used for £40 + Postage if you want it? Includes Car holder and free Sat nav software
