My 2016 318i sport rattles when I accelerate and/or when I have a car full of passengers. It sounds like it comes from the centre console. No reduction in performance or power. What could it be?

    What an impossible question unless we can hear it !!!

    Is the rattle inside the car or underneath ???

    Inside. I would start by taking all your stuff/junk out of the car empty all the pockets and storage trays, glove box check under the seats. Once the car is clear is the rattle still there if it is then you are looking for loose trim which may need some detective work.

    Outside. I would check under the car for anything loose. Heat shields Exhaust under body shields
