    Welcome to the Forum

    Sorry to say it may not be, though it does need investigation. If your lucky it may be a recall item though you should have received a letter

    You need the help of someone friend or Garage who has a BMW capable diagnostic program to check what is causing the issue. The Dealer will charge for diagnostics plus repair
