Newbie - Auxiliary socket advice

Hi folks,

First of all, hello to you all.

I have a 2017 1 series and I am having trouble with the auxiliary sockets. The centre console one works fine however the one under the glove box and at the rear of the centre console do not work now, they used to. Yes i have tested all the stated fuses and all are fine.

Why would the 2 sockets mentioned fail to work if the fuses are ok and the centre one works.

Help please its driving me mad 🙂

Welcome to the Forum

First place I would look is in the I drive to make sure all the settings are as they were, check the settings carefully. Also double check the fuses I had a problem with a blown fuse for the air suspension on my E53 X5 I changed the fuse still no go I cleaned the contacts and tried again nothing. Went to the BMW Dealer brought a fuse set plugged it in and hey presto all working again. To this day I dont know why all the other fuses were good and I have used them else where? Mystery 

The next will be a diagnostic scan which should throw some light on what the issue is
