218d - DASHCAM FUSEBOX CONNECTIONS

Is there anyone who can help me with this please?

I have a THIeye camera which is all wired-in and set up apart from the two red and yellow wire connections to the best/most suitable fuses in the box behind the glove compartment to enable parking monitoring with the ignition switched off, using dual-fuse piggyback fuses (that don't interfere with the existing box internals).

Any assistance would be very much appreciated.

PS the cam switches itself off its display automatically every minute or so, meaning I have to keep touching the screen to reactivate it - why is this I wonder?

Cheers.

Hi Steve

Welcome to the Forum

What instructions did the camera come with? You need to Identify what the Red and Yellow wires signify (a wild guess Red permanent live Yellow ACC (Switched) live)

If the camera is not connected to the car is it running on it's own battery in which case it could be power saving
