DVLA AND Category N write off

Has anyone had the miss fortune to try and inform the DVLA regarding a category N write off which they have purchased back from their insurance company. I can’t find any section where this is possible. And don’t even get me started on trying to talk to anyone 🤪. I am I missing something can anyone help me or point me in the right direction 

any help much appreciated

    I have been having enough problems with the DVLA just getting the V5 back on a recent purchase ??

    I gave up trying online and used a local Post Office to Tax and chase the V5 for me? Apparently if I haven't received the V5 in 4 to 6 weeks I can apply for a new one but then I have the pleasure of paying £25 for the privilege
