I bought a 2018 M240i and will need to replace tires soon. Has anyone purchased Continental Extreme Contact XL tires? They are performance tires, but 50k mile warranty vs 30 for the Michelins. Are there any recommended tires with at least 50k mile warranty that ride smooth?

Welcome to the Forum

My brother inlaw runs Continental Extreme on his 540d xDrive Touring I don't think he has ever got close to 50k but that is possibly his driving style 🤣

He has used the Continental Extreme on two cars now he likes them for their consistent grip in varied conditions across Europe

50k miles on a M240i, definitely driving style. Not exactly what your looking for but......

I have changed from factory fit Michelin's (rears last 25k) to Goodyear Asymmetric 6's. These were mainly chosen due to the spring and damper set up I have (also changed from stock). I've not had them on long, but they are definitely a more compliant ride on UK roads. Doubt they will get anywhere near 50k miles though

      Morning Rob Welcome to the Forum Our son inlaw has an Induction charger in his 3 series it looks very "OEM" and seems to work well. It sits below the radio centre console where the ashtray would be I don't know if it was in the car when he got it or if he had it fitted ? I will ask him and let you know Dave

      Centre console iPhone charger

      Morning to you all, I have a 2014 X3 35d M sport, absolutely love it. However, I’d love to have a wireless charger (ideally MagSafe as I have an iPhone) in the centre cubby between the two seats. Of course I know I could use a lead (and indeed do currently), but in the interests of being extremely lazy I’d love to just be able to plonk it onto a fix in place wireless MagSafe pad. I've seen a few aliexpress specials to retro fit something by the cup holders, but that’s not what I’m after. What I’m after is as above, but I can’t find anything anywhere. Has anyone here done or seen something along those lines? Cheers Rob
