Hello gentlemen. I am having major problems with the brakes on my bmw e46 318i. I managed to narrow it down to the abs module. There is no fluid coming out of port marked HL and HR to the rear brakes. Removed unit to clean with solvents and compressor. It's it totally blocked. See below for picture of the blocked ports. The port going to the front it clear and free flowing. Here is where it gets even stranger. I got another unit from the junkyard and it does exactly the same. Is it supposed to do this?

Morning Shaheed

Welcome to the Forum

I am not sure of the sequence with the E46 I would contact one of the repair specialists like ECU Testing or BBA Reman I have used them for ABS unit rebuilds on Volvo and Mercedes and a 7 series BMW (not mine) the service was literally 48hr turn around and probably not a lot different in cost than a secondhand unit, the big plus it comes with a warranty.
