Hi Guys

Recently (few days ago) bought a 2015 4 series 420i M sport. The dealer told me the car had had its battery changed.

Yesterday morning I went to open the car using the remote and the car opened but then the alarm went off. After the alarm tailed off I tried to start the car where the dashboard had no power.

I called the AA out who charged the battery and then tested it, he said the battery had a 16 amp drain and that although the battery (100amp) is charging it will die. Then he took off.
 

Question is how do I identify the drain and either fix it or stop it?

    There seems to be 3 posts here all relating to the same Issue/Car

    Simple answer is as you recently purchased the car it is the Dealers responsibility under the sale of goods act to supply a car that is fit for purpose.

    Take it back to the Dealer
