I had a rather embarrassing problem the other day where as I was trying to pair my phone up incorrectly with the car and accidentally entered the immobiliser code option and ended up have to call out the breakdown people because I do not have the code and the code is nowhere in any of the documentation. He managed  to get the car started by disconnecting the battery and letting the headunit count down. The thing I want to know is if I do not have the immobiliser code is there a way to get it reset so that I know what the code is and how would I get that done and how much would it cost

Morning Steve

Not come across that one before so I am of little help BMW may be the only route so that may be a costly minefield.

It may be that as you entered a code the ECU thought you were malicious and shut everything down then the Battery reset let it recover it's self

The bluetooth unit in the boot has the bluetooth pass code on it if that is what you need.
