Bmw 116i 2012 heating problems

Hi all 

ive noticed ive lost all warm air to the drivers side and its still warm on the passenger side, i dont have dual heating,  The drivers side is only blowing cold air, its !Removed! freezing,,   and ive tried all the different vent positions ( window screen and also legs, and face vents ).

Hi Adam

Not sure about the 1 series set up but with the X5 there is a solenoid distribution valve on the nearside inner wing in the engine compartment if it sticks or one of the solenoids fails no heat (why always the driver side?) It could be the air distribution flaps sticking or broken

I would check www.realoem.com and look at the small exploded drawing see if it can give you some clues
