  1. Hi all I have got air to passenger side but not drivers side , but have cold air going both side when cold is selected, not sure if a flap is broke or something along them lines, if so how easy and how do I get to heater box to replace many thanks for your time in reading my post Adam 😁

Hi all ive noticed ive lost all warm air to the drivers side and its still warm on the passenger side, i dont have dual heating, The drivers side is only blowing cold air, its !Removed! freezing,, and ive tried all the different vent positions ( window screen and also legs, and face vents ). cheers guys

I have a bmw 1 series 116i 2012 plate with 91k on the clock ive notice lately there is a slight miss fire / jerking when driving when cold but there is no codes showing for this. also ive notice the fuel consumption is creeping up a little even when driving in eco mode it says im doing 33.5mpg but doesn't seem right to me or maybe im over thinking the mpg a little, I was using a lot of oil at one point but I changed the oil and put some in from bmw and its been alright since fingers crossed any suggestions on what to check and were to start I have some knowledge of mechiancs but not in a great technical detail many thanks ADAM
  5. hi Dave ive had a look around the engine I carnt see any visable weeps or leaks ive taken various pipes off around the turbo an the intake would my spark plugs be a good indicator ? ive had it plugged in to a computer ive got a few codes on there air mass, plausalbilty air mass too low oxygen sensor after catalytic converter dynamics, from rich to lean slow respone oxygen sensor after cataliyc converter in coasting/overrun mode from rich to lean delayed respone cheers adam

Hi guys im loosing oil internally ive haven't got any smoke coming from the exuasht system on average im putting a 1liter in a week -week and a half , when i open the oil filler cap it smells very chemicly ive changed the oil, there is no sign if water and oil mixing but when i open it with the car running there seems to be a lot of white smoke coming from The filler cap, anybody any suggestions ?? i forgot to mention im doing about 300-400 miles a week some weeks a lot less
  7. hi all sorry just replied I've managed to fix the coolant leak it was a silly connector that was leaking. im still loosing a bit of oil the turbo doesn't seem to be passing and also there are no visible leaks anywhere and also I have no smoke , also check the valve stem seals by leaving to get very warm tkin over and revving and no white smoke either, im wondering if it could be a carbon build up ? as the car feels a little slow sometimes and also fuel consumption as gone up a little and there's a bit of a chemical smell when u take the oil filler cap of cheers adam
  8. hi all ive got a BMW 116 I 2012 ive noticed past few weeks im loosing coolant, and also putting about 1 liter of oil in a week now and sometimes when cold and wet its a bit spluttery / gutless on start up , also there is a little bit of black soot appearing on the tail pipe, but no signs of smeg in the coolant or the oil, ive changed the thermosat housing at the back of engine as that was leaking, any suggestions would be much appreciated
