Hello everyone-My rear turn signals and rear hazard signals not working. Looks like no power is going to rear lights. The front turn signals are blinking at a higher rate. I checked light bulbs and put new ones in rear but it still doesn’t have power to them. Looking for fuse in glove compartment but it looks like there are no fuse for them. I believe It is in a light control module near the footwell. Need help in trying to get this fixed. It seems any refurbished or new module needs to be programmed with the vehicle ID. Is there any recommendations for fixing this problem. Can the LCM be repaired or I have to go to the dealership for this. Thank you!

Morning James

Happy Christmas Welcome to the Forum

Have you checked the rear light clusters for corrosion, also I would check the earth point for corrosion as well before getting your wallet out. The LCM is normally in the passenger footwell try cleaning all the contacts, get a good electrical;contact cleaner not WD40.Do the earth as well as all the plugs and connectors.

You should get the codes read to be sure there is a register of BMW Specialists online so you should find one near you they are normally a lot less expensive than Dealerships. Or you can download INPA or Carly for BMW or similar to lap tops or Smart phones and do it yourself or there may be a member near you who is happy to help.
