Hi everyone. Sorry in advance if I've no obeyed protocol in any way. I'm in urgent need of help with regard the alt belt tensioner. Can anyone please tell me how to adjust it and what size allen key or torx I need. Can't fine any tutorial with this kind of tensioner. Thanks in advance

Hi Mike

It's an automatic adjuster by the look of it and you turn the nut on the pulley with a spanner until the slot (visible in photo) aligns with a hole behind it where you then lock it off with a drill bit of the right size. You can then fit the belt and turn the pulley slightly to release the drill bit and hey presto....correct adjustment

      Failed turbo

      Hi. That start/stop ignition button never turns off. Same with the P when parked. I will check the mini fuses on the car. I even added some not in fuse box. I will look for gear and brake fuse. On diagram and #. Thanks

      Looking to buy a used 2015 650i w/ low kms, any advice?

      Hello fellow BMW enthusiast, I'm looking to purchase a 2015 650i xdrive with 70K kms. I understand I'll need to hold some cash back for maintenance/repairs and have another car if it needs to be in the shop. I don't have a garage so I won't be servicing it myself.       Morning Darren I brought mine a few years ago (2009 if I recall) through Ebay. Make the checks mine was from a UK seller with good feed back who also offered back up. Before that I used BMW 1.4.0 (still have it on the same laptop) Where ever you buy just make the normal sensible checks to make sure you will have support if needed Dave
